Good morning everyone.
I'm testing the recent feature of the phonebook available on IP phones on 3CX Free.
Importing the .csv file containing about 650 contacts, the system gave me an error telling me that it could import a maximum of 500 contacts. I reduced the contacts to 499, and the import was successful. I tried adding more contacts manually; the contact is saved and available on the web client, but the contact doesn't appear on the IP phone.
Is this normal? Is there actually a limit of 500 contacts?
Thank you all very much.

You dont want to use more than 500 contacts on any ip hone. they will get slow as thick syrup...

Thank you for your reply, but it's not relevant to the question I asked.

The limit depends on the phone, somewhere around 1000 contacts.

Exactly. The phone in question is a Fanvil X4U, which has a limit of 1,000 contacts. It's actually currently accessing two address books: the first is this new 3CX address book that has this problem, and the second is a local XML address book that works perfectly for well over 650 contacts.
This is what made me immediately rule out the phone. It works with the other address book.

Could be possible that they limit the phonebook to 500 contacts, was before at 1000. Maybe someone from 3cx can answer that.

@MarcelloL_3CX Have you experienced this issue before? Is it a known issue?
