A consistent ubiquitous user experience is a sign of quality design and forethought. I have a Fanvil video doorbell that's on 3CX's official compatibility list:
- My 3CX Windows Desktop app supports a video call from this doorbell
- My 3CX Browser app supports a video call from this doorbell
- My Yealink T58W (Android based) seamlessly supports a video call from this doorbell (behavior can be configured to answer with video active)
- My 3CX Mobile App sits and spins endlessly trying to start video because H264 is unsupported from this doorbell
I'll reference this older post: 2N IP Verso no Video Calls to 3CX App
Use of Video doorbells is only going to increase as time goes on and users want a seamless user experience. Please reconsider this decision leave this basic functionality, available everywhere else in 3CX, broken for mobile.
