3CX install cloud docs ?

Hi,
I'd like to find some docs on " how to install 3CX iso from scratch on Cloud VPS".

is there a way today to use VPS server from 1&1 ionos as it was possible in 2017 (Stefan Walter was writting an article at this time)

Of course, i know there's PBX Express, but if you want to install 3CX Debian ISO on other VPS manually, how to do this? is there a 3CX guide somewhere?

You simply need a provider that supports custom ISO as well as having a KVM console. This way you can control the machine during installation.

I like Vultr for that.

As an example, we use Virtuozzo in our data center. When I install a 3CX VM, I set up the VM to boot from the 3CX ISO and access the console through our control panel. I would think anyone that allows booting from an ISO would have a way to control the VM at that point.

Why don't you just get a VPS and install it via packages? Why get into the hassle of going for the ISO in the cloud? You make your life more difficult for no reason!

Thanks, as i never manually did an install this is why i search for docs coming from 3cx if something exist.

My linux knowledge is poor as already said so , if for you it's something easy with no question this is not the same on my side .

I mentioned it because finding a host which allows own ISO to be loaded is not easy and also there is documentation for package install already.

This is a bad idea, there is more to a 3CX Debian instance than simply loading the packages, there are settings changes and tweaks to the OS you would then be lacking, if you want a robust, cookie cutter, uniform supportable solution, the 3CX ISO is the best option.

Being a Linux guy I am fully aware you can just load the missing packages to a debian vm and wing it and make it work, but this is NOT simple, easily repeatable, uniform, and i believe even 3CX's support team will give you the third degree if you do this, and then ask them for help, as your effectively wasting their time since they have given us an ISO that does it all effectively for you.

I prefer Vultr for this reason, and the number of DC locations.

Another option is there are some providers that rent/lease entire ESXi boxes, you could pile a decent number of PBXs in there and manage your own list of ISO's etc, i believe OVH offers this but im not familiar with the cost.
