3CX install on new server while old one is running

We are using 3cx for quite some time now and we just received a new server on which we would like to create a new fresh 3cx installation, so no restore from backup.

At the initial installation a licensekey is requested however this license is already bound to the existing server/FQDN. How should we proceed and is it even possible at all to setup a new server next to a existing one? What steps should we follow? We could not find any documentation.

I would not recommend using the same key on two server at the same time as this might cause activation problems and you might end up with a locked key. Is this a big installation that will take a lot of time to complete?

Not really big, we have about 30 users, but we would like to do a clean install to avoid any misconfiguration from the current server being copied to the new one. How could we achieve this?

What i would do is get a new free licence key and install the PBX using that. When i had everything down i would perform a backup without licence and FQDN and saved the backup to a non 3CX location. I would then power down the old server and un-install the system. Change the local IP of the new machine to the local IP of the old machine and re-install the PBX with the backup created and the desired licence key. This way the phones will not need to be re-provisioned.
