Hi everyone, I have a customer who has been using NodVpn on iOS with the 3CX application for some time without any problems. 3CX in Cloud 3cx. Suddenly on Saturday, during the V20.9 update, his extension was unregistered and continued to constantly report error 403. By disabling NordVpn everything works correctly. Now, unfortunately, for iOS, NordVpn does not allow me to perform Split Tunneling, which would allow me to exclude the 3CX IP address or FQDN. Has the V20.9 update implemented features that do not allow VPNs? Is there a way to resolve this? Thanks

Could be because the server you chose is blacklisted by 3CX
Try Adelaide Australia, seems to work.

On a more generic note, NordVPN is abused daily to scan voip systems. If our automation is flagged with an IP Address range that is a known source of abuse, it will eventually find its way into the global blacklist.

You would be well advised to use your own, or a more reputable, VPN solution, or even no VPN for the apps as they are already protected by 3CX's own encrypted tunnel.

You welcome. You may check NordVPN for other of its servers (to me Switzerland Zurich seems a very good one) but Kevin's point above should be the "golden rule" to take into consideration when using VPNs.

Thank you for your reply, NordVpn on Android allows you to perform Split Tunneling and therefore exclude the FQDN or IP of the PBX in the Cloud, on Apple IOS this function is not available so I adopted the solution provided by @Vali_3CX

The user is iOS so NordVpn does not automatically perform exclusions and does not give the possibility on iOS to exclude traffic or applications.
