3CX Migration

Hi Team,

We are currently running 3cx V20, it is a windows installation.
We had planned to migrate the server from windows to Debian.

The original plan was to take a backup of the windows machine, shut it down and start a fresh debian installation using the backup taken.

Instead of shutting down the windows install, is it possible to stop the 3cx services on the windows install and go ahead with the debian install?
Shouldn't this be enough than shutting down the 3cx instance completely?
Or could this cause any issues?

Please share your thoughts.

With all the 3CX services stopped it should not be any different than a shutdown as far as the 3CX install goes, if for some reason that machine needs to stay online for the duration.
