Hi folks,

I have been using 3cx for a while now and Me and my office are enjoying the benefits and features.

We recently had to reinstall 3cx and transfer it to a different machine which all worked fine, Desk phones are set up as the server is using the same IP as the old one.

Unfortunately we are running into an issue with the mobile apps though where they will just sit on connecting whether on the local network or off the local network. I did see some issues like BLOCK WAN REQUESTS IS ON showing up on extensions. Is there a easy way to disable this?

The phones worked fine on the old system

Have you tried reimporting the config file or scan QR code from the welcome email.

Yes I have rescanned it and also tried setting it up on the app

So, just to clarify, you:
  1. Deleted the existing account on the mobile app (long-press then press 'Delete')
  2. Scanned the QR code
  3. Account appeared again but it stays at 'connecting'
?

As a test, could you please create a new Test Extension on your 3CX installations, and in a PM, send me the WebClient link, extension number and password?
Once we are done you can delete the extension completely.

I'd like to check from my location too.

Hi nick

sent some details over pm to you Please if you are doing any call testing dial myself

I checked with the extension you created and it seems port 5090 TCP is closed.
Please open that, or in your case because you moved the server, maybe you forget to change that rule in the Firewall?
Also re-run the Firewall Checker to also ensure that the UDP ports are also correctly open and forwarded (Firewall Checker only checks UDP ports).

Yep appears to be working.

Not going to lie I feel silly for not checking the firewall fully But thank youy for your help

Glad to hear it's resolved now!
Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to spot! :)

Setting as 'Solved'.
