3CX Multi Tenant feature inquiry

Hi All,

in case I have many customers, is there a way to Install single 3cx Node and separate between each customer (Data, Ext, Trunks,....etc) so each customer can see only his data and add to it.

Hi,

No, this is not a feature of V15.X. You will need to do a separate install for each customer.

So, I would have a multi-tenant solution that can manage the service across different service providers

When you download 3CX, you can install on any machine/server that is supported, locally, or remote.

Where I do not recommend this, I have known partners getting around this issue by segregating extension groups for each tenant using a single (large 3CX installation) and simply hiding each group/tenant from seeing one another.

This does provide issues in that you cannot block extensions from calling one another locally if members guess extension numbers so it is not a true multi-tenant solution.

Just spin up separate 3CX instances.

You can install 3CX where ever you want - your private cloud which essentially is a the same machine as a physical server nowadays. Actually more available, achievable and also customisable to your needs.

But the relation is

1 3CX Install <-> 1 physical / virtual instance <-> 1 client.

The feature eddv123 correctly mentioned is more suitable for Extension Groups. Granularity of groups, extensions and visibility within the same PBX domain.
