Hi All,

I am trying to setup a 3CX Server over a O2 4G router connection.

I have set a static IP Address on the server and have opened the required ports on the customers 4G router as well as turning off SIP ALG.

I have also set the Public IP Address on 3CX as Dynamic.

When running the firewall test, all ports are returning as incorrect, as well as SIP ALG is being detected.

Any advice would be appreciated, feel free to ask for any addition information.

Kind Regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,

This is because it's using carrier grade NAT so unless you have a dedicated static IP with the ability to port forward you arent going to be able to set it up.

Some have had success sticking the PBX in the cloud and using an SBC onsite.

behind a 4G router impossible to passes green firewall checker as it is double nated and most probably you haven't a static public IP on your sim card

Yes this works great, several of my customers with poor internet land lines have been saved by 4G

Hi All,

Thank you for the advice & Help, I will talk to the customer and advice.

Cheers,
Mike
