I don't know why 3CX attempted to "reinvent the wheel" regarding parked calls, its not a feature code you can dial from a phone like normal (using 0-9,*,#), its letters. Simple yealink handsets don't support ABC dial input and even as a local speed dial entered manually from a keyboard fails to dial the entire entry and fails on "S", I wish the handsets supported a couple BLFs but that wouldn't help since it doesn't support dialing ABC characters.
For anyone frustrated with this, as with many things in 3CX, you have to create a work around. For me this was creating a dummy extension and setting forwarding to SP0, this allows the phone system to transcribe and connect the phone to the parked caller from the DECT handset.
3CX does seem to be adding more support for Park back into the system in web and desktop clients so maybe with coming upgrades they will overhaul this and allow us to change the default call park digit range to something like *70-*79. IMHO, all things feature code options and management related need to be expanded on and improved in this platform though.
