3cx phone and windows 98

I am trying to use the latest 3cx phone with W98 and Asterisk.
I have made it work OK with WinXP on the same machine.
Looking at the logs shows that 3cx is not reistering the IP address of the machine it is running on:

In the SIP message debug

...Via ... UDP 192.168.1.8 on the XP machine

...Via ... UDP 0.0.0.0 on W98 machine.

The manual shows a box for the IP address of the local machine + port number.

I only get the port number!

Can anybody help to get this working? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The System Requirements for 3CX are listed as being:

if you can get apache to work on w98 you should be fine.

Looking at the IP address, you might have to manually configure the hosts file on the w98 box.


I do not have a w98 system here so I cannot trial it.
