3cx Phone Auto Detection

Hi,

I am interesting how 3cx auto detect phones? How the phones came up in "Phones" section? Does 3cx sends some broadcast messages to the network or what?

The phones, if they support it, send out the broadcast message.
If the extension has the Mac address and phone model setup - it should auto provision. Otherwise, you would select it in phones tab and assign an extension.
