I have a total of three phones connected to my system at the moment:

- Yealink T46S (my home office phone)
- Yealink W60B (DECT base station) with two W56H (handset)

All phones are auto provisioned using a firmware recommended by 3CX.

All phones show a3CX phone book, but sadly it is empty on all phones. On the T46S there is an update button but pressing it doesn't do anything.

Is this not working or am I missing a setting somewhere. It used to work fine for all phones using the on=premise edition.

Thank you for any feedback!

Hello,

This is the current limitation of StartUP installations - the phonebook of IP Phones has no entries.
We are planning to improve this part in future versions of the 3CX Phone System

At the same time, you still can use 3CX WebClient or Desktop App where all contacts are exposed.

Thank you! That explains it. Can't expect it to work if it isn't implemented yet.

... but I would probably not expect it to provision a soft-key labelled "3CX Phonebook", which confuses users...

Is there an ETA for a Company Directory in the StartUp Pro Service?

Hi!

We have the same issue on a self-hosted instance!? Any solution?

regards,
Lukas

- The directory entries must have the First, Last Name and Mobile fields populated otherwise an entry will not be generated.

So years after, 3cx continues to consider that the main number of a company configured in the mobile field is acceptable.
I cannot start to explain how wrong this limitation is, and so confusing for customers.
I just discovered that (and that partners are softly complaining about it for years) and I don't know how I am going to explain this to a customer.
