Hi .

Can anyone tell me where I have it wrong?
I have 2 PBX connected through a bridge. A to B.
In the PBX B, where the SIP trunk is, I have for Outbound parameters:
From: Display Name -> OutboudCallerID taken from Extension settings
From: User Part -> OutboudCallerID taken from Extension settings

Extension A has caller id XXXXXXX (11 digits in the USA) under its extension settings.
When I call out from extension A, I always get the caller ID from B / SIP Trunk / CallerID / Caller ID

If on PBX B I changed the caller id setting of any extension, then it works for any of PBX B extensions.
Just not from extensions in PBX A.

What am I missing ?
Thank you .

When you think about it... Caller on PBX A calls an extension on PBX B, you probably want the extension number to show and not the DID number, yet, when they place an outbound call over the trunks on PBX B, you want the DID number to be sent. So, how to send two caller IDs over the bridge, and let PBX B know which one to use, in each case.

You are talking about a different case scenario. Bridge have their own trunk settings. The incoming / outgoing trunk setting for a SIP trunk to public network is setup in a different way .
