3CX V18 unlink partner, Keep FQDN and upgrade to version 20.

Hello,

We currently have a customer with self-hosted 3cx Version 18.0.9.31. FQDN is managed by 3cx. The license expires soon and we want to switch to us.
Now the question is, if we set up a new VM with 3cx v20, restore a backup of the current environment. Unlink the current Partner and link us as a partner with the new license, will the FQDN managed by 3cx still be active online?

Yes, this will work. Just be sure to shutdown the old instance.

@buymeball21 You'd be restoring it with the current license, then can replace the existing license with the new one.

Or link the new partner to the v20 server and they can renew that license.
