We have a number of web servers serviced by a public IP, is it possible to configure our nginx reverse proxy to serve the 3CX web part?
I mean, I'd like to serve only the web client part, as the SIP and every other ports are configured for a direct connection with the internet.
It is also because the 3CX install used that IP for enabling the fqdn.

Right now, 3CX web client works ok only inside the intranet.
Trunk and incoming calls are ok.

Thanks for any hint!

Or, if we can move the listening 443 port to another port (the QR code for client provisioning needs pointing to the correct port too), we can forward directly to the 3cx machine avoiding the proxy.

Reverse proxy for 3cx isnt an good idea... You can change the port during installation of the pbx. Take a backup, reinstall with the correct new port and restore your backup.

Thank you, feels the easiest way!

Reinstalling the 3CX I am not asked which port to use...

Dont use the config file... Just reinstall. During the assistant you can change the port and restore your backup.

Do you mean, when I am asked if use the config file or restore from backup, choose restore from backup?
Or I have to use terminal instead of web to continue the install?

Thank you! It asked ports and started the restore.

I see postgres is stuck half hour doing its things, I hope this is normal... backup file is 15MB.
