Hi All,
I am new to 3CXPhone and I can't help but think I am missing something really obvious - I am hoping someone may be able to help me or point me in the right direction. This is very similar to the problem at http://www.3cx.com/forums/post170825.html?hilit=system%20is%20unreachable however the suggested solution of an incorrect FQDN does not seem to be the case.
After configuring the 3CXPhone for windows v14, either from a config file or manually, it gives a message "3CS Phone System is unreachable. 3CXPhone will try to reconnect automatically. Please wait"
Clicking OK goes to the main screen, however it shows "Not Connected".
In the Server Manager console, Extension Status shows Not Registered.
Curiously at the client machine with 3CXPhone, wireshark does not show any traffic to the server....
For testing I have disabled the Windows firewall at both the client and the server - still the same result.
I've tried now on a couple of computers with the same result.
We have the server working with a Yealink phone, so I believe the server is correctly configured.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim
