"486 Busy Here" Errors

We are getting "486 Busy Here" errors whenever we call a busy number. On the 3CX client, the calls ring a couple of times and then just drop. We are using a Patton PRI Gateway SN4171. Does anyone know how we can solve this problem?

As you have said a 486 Busy Here (OR 17 User busy in ISUP) is when you make a call to a busy number. Are you saying you get the same result on all calls or just a certain number ?

If you want to troubleshoot this however you can run the following from putty/SSH on the Patton gateway to give more information:

enable
show running config
debug cr full-detail
debug cc full-detail
debug isdn-signaling full-detail
debug sip-signaling full-detail
debug sip-transport full-detail
debug context sip-gateway error

(make/replicate the issue/call)

no debug all

This will finish the trace and you can get the logging and move it across to NotePad ++ for viewing. In regards to the process despite being on an FXS gateway the below will show the process from the console if you run into any issues.
