Ability to filter User Sync in 3CX or on the Azure AD App registration?

Hi,

This may be more of a feature request but thought I'd ask, is it possible to do any filtering on the data that is pulled via the Office 365 integration into 3CX?

Being a college we have well of 20k accounts containing students, service accounts (usertype member) of which only 900 are staff accounts, all with attributes that identify them as staff.

We are currently adding staff manually via the "Only these users" to each tab but would really love to be able to have a better way to filter our accounts.

Other systems use wither "Members Of" a group or attribute filtering, hoping there might be something under the hood we could modify to help with this?

Hi John,

Currently there is no option to filter based on "Member of" at the moment. The only alternative, but I don't know if it will help, is if you can compile a list of all the UPNs/Emails you want easily, what you could do is:

1. Make a backup of your 3CX (precautionary)
2. Go to Settings --> Parameters and search for: OFFICE365_CONFIG
3. Edit this parameter copy all the content into Notepad++ and format it to appear in a JSON format
4. In the highlighted section paste all the user UPNs, each surrounded by double-quotes and separate each line with a comma, except the last line (...so classic JSON frmat of an array)
   
5. Copy all the contents into a JSON validator like (there are many available online) to check you have not made a formatting mistake.
6. Paste the content back into the Parameter in the Management Console and press OK
7. Restart all 3CX Services.

Not ideal, but just in case it helps.
