Ability to link 3rd party billing system

Right now call info is stored in a database. We are working on a standard API - document how to retrieve the call log info.

Do we really need an API? or is it as simple as an ODBC?

On the topic, I think it is been asked before but will there be a Microsoft SQL version ?
