Is it possible to access the company phonebook from MyPhone?
If yes, how can I do it?

Admins (Members of Management Group) should be able to add entries into the Company Phonebook from MyPhone

All users should have access to view/dial from the Company Phonebook

We are still working on Phone Book.

In the future the myphone will pull entries from the company phonebook and you will be able to see them in the phonebook section.

personal entries created per MyPhone session will not be mixed in the company phonebook of course.

As for who has rights to edit them or not we are discussing but Kerry's solution should cover it all.

All users will have access to view/dial company phonebook - yes confirmed.

Hi Nicky,

it would be nice if the company phonebook and the personal pb are merged together for the individual user.
This also would make the xml-phonebook in the phones more complete.

It would also be nice if inbound caller ID can be matched from the company phone book and displayed in Myphone

We did this already - one of the new features of V10 - Settings/Advanced/Global options
Caller ID and phonebook matching.

YOu can match incoming cid by exact match or mask it with a minimum length.

Hi Nicky,

yes, but if the phone number starts with a plus-sign (+), the matching doesn't find the phone number (regardless of exact or minimum length mode).

Minimum length starts from the end of the number not the front. If I receive this +357 123456 and this 00357 123456 or this 011357123456 - if I make a minim length of 6 it will match the last 6 numbers.

Yes, I did understand the principle.
But it's not working like that:

using minimum-match of 7, partial matching is active.

real caller-id is 0732196800:

+49 7321 96800 - NO match
+49732196800 - NO match
49 7321 96800 - NO match
49732196800 - NO match
7321 96800 - NO match
732196800 - YES!
07321 96800 - NO match
0732196800 - YES!

Test it for yourself!

If you make a minimum match of 7 digits and you enter 732196800 it will match.

This string 2196800 is common in all numbers. Spaces should be stripped. if you see spaces then we need to check because these are stripped.

Send me logs - one that matches and one that not matches.

i have here the same problem

i have a complete company phone book

if there is a incoming phone call in the myphone software the caller is displayed but on my spa 504 phones only the caller id is displayed but no name

Check with wireshark - this is a thread which was open when 3CX V10 was in beta. Now it is not the case.

Make sure you have the latest version installed and that you have the options to match incoming caller id number with phonebook name.
