Regarding your question, please be advised that only the user/extension who receives the chat/whats app message can retrieve the files sent to them.

But the chat has already ended (deal with) and since that moment we have not been able to return to the chat to retrieve the attached files.

Check under the original extensions chat section within their webclient and use the drop-down on the right of the chat page and choose Archived and if not deleted, you will be able to retrieve the chat message from there.
