Hi,
We are trialing the 3cx Free version.
We've setup 3 extensions with desk-phones associated and a SIP trunk to allow inbound and outbound external calls - this all works.
The extension numbers are 5-digits (can't see any way of changing this in the free version - but no worries).
The extensions are (say) 10001,10002,10003.
We have setup the Ring Group so that if a call is not answered, it goes to a 'dummy' extension's voicemail. - the dummy extension is (say) 10004.
This all seems to work, but is it possible to pick up the voicemail from one of the other 'real' extensions? (10001-10003)
I found something elsewhere on the forum that suggested that after dialing 99999 for the voicemail, you press # when asked for the PIN, and it should then prompt you for an extension number, but this doesn't happen, if you press # it just says the PIN is incorrect.
Any suggestions? Or is this just a limitation of the free version?

Thanks,

Chris.

Hi @Chris - Diamond

On the SMB version, it is not possible to connect to another extension's voicemail.
