Active Conference Caller ID Shows Extension Name

A client brought this to my attention the other day.

If an external call is placed on line 1, then another external call is placed on line 2, and finally conference both. The result is the Caller ID in the active conference shows the extension name.



Now if external call(s) originated as inbound, the Caller ID is correct when placed into the active conference.


I replicated this on our 3CX PBX.
