Hi admins of 3CX,

We are having an issue regarding Video webmeeting.

We get an error: Active video limit reached.

We use a Enterprise license on our PBX and can invite up to 250 participants.
Is it normal for the PBX to have a limit of 12 video meetings? Or is this a PBX issue?
Also we would like to know if there is any other way of setting up the Video webmeeting?

Kind regards,

Dennis (ICT)

You can have many participants, but only a maximum of 12 simultaneous video clients. This cannot be changed.

Hi Matthew,

Is there an article that says this?
I cannot find anything about this topic.

Hi Marco, the announcement for the limit can be found here: https://status.3cx.net/

The limit is typically 25 videos for the huge majority of our servers, except for Sao Paulo, ZA and Mumbai where bandwidth limitations are more visible than in other places. For your region if you use an Oregon MCU, the limit should be 25.

Mind that you can have e.g 50 people in a meeting, but only 25 will have their video enabled at any given time. Everyone can have their microphone enabled.

Ok, thanks! we know enough then.
