I've seen a few threads describing the challenges of adding users to 3CX from AD via Office 365 sync.
In particular the recreation of extension numbers
Is it possible that if the extension number is not correctly defined in AD, that 3CX will create one?
Are these field mappings still true for the current Office 365 integration? (From old LDAP implementation)
I note that the 3CX extension number is defined in the "IP Phone" field.
Will populating this field in AD with the desired extension number, result in the smooth creation of extensions in 3CX when users are synced? Some ops have posted that extensions are created in order i.e. 001, 002, 003, 004 etc.
Any advice appreciated.
