add a voip provider

i did add a voip provider but when i click on manage i dont see it anymore, so i tried to enter it again and i am getting error "name must not have a unique value"

can someone advise

You are in effect trying to create a gateway when it seems that there already is a gateway with that very same name. Perhaps you already have the VoIP gateway but did not assign any lines, or perhaps had them removed.

Please goto the "Lines" -> "Manage" Page, and click on the manage gateways icon. Then select and delete the gateway you have created. You should then be able to create the gateway, with it's appropriate lines.

thanks, now it is registering on my sip server but and as well as on the 3cx but please informed on the following issues:

1- if i click on status, i see only that my extention as being registered and not the voip account

2- when call is made from the extention to an external number ie a pstn number, the call goes through but with no ringback meaning i dont hear a ringback at all so i cannot know if the calls is ringing at end user or not

3- if i call from an external number to the voip account, the user agent regsiter with extention 100 is not ringing and the call is not coming through even though it is configured to have inbound calls to extention 100

Thanks for the feedback.

1- We will check about the status no showing to be registered. Can you please let me know what VoIP service provider you are using?

2- Is the ringback failing on the same mentioned voip provider? or is this a different line? We would have to test the ringback with the mentioned provider.

3- Incomming calls from VoIP provider is a known issue, for now please bear with it but this will be resolved in the very near future.

i wish to add that fritz box fon does not register with 3cx.

beta 1.9 does not register to VOIP providers..

SipGate and Vonage. I have both accounts and went through your setup step by step and removed and reinstalled the product 2 times yet it will not register to my VoIP providers.

Firewall is opened and the softphone programs do register and work fine.

Any help?

Hi,

Thank you very much for your patience. We so far have not tested with Vonage, but we have tested and do use Sipgate regularly.

When creating the sipgate VoipProvider in the Console make sure you are using the right fields from the sipgate 'my account' page. Most important fields are:

SIP-ID 8888888
Registry sipgate.co.uk
SIP-Password XXXXXXXXX

They are used as mentioned in the manual. If you wish, please send over the logs in your 'Server Status' page to [email protected]. Before sending the logs try to place an external call on the VoIP provider, also make sure your outbound rule is set to use the sipgate VoIP provider. Do not forget that to place an external call you need to dial the 0 prefix. i.e. to call 004499999999 dial 0004499999999 (unless you configured it otherwise).

In order to rule out a firewall problem you can also use the sipgate account details in a VoIP phone (http://www.3cx.com/voip/voip-phone/). Obviously do this on the server in question.

yes, the 3cx server can use 3cx to connect to both and make/receive calls.

Stopped and started all 4 services and this is the only thing on the "Sever Status" screen

I am having the same issue with SIPNumber.net, will not regitser. Here is the log entries...
