I have a customer that needs an Admin to release a Text (Dealt With or Archive) because no one is getting the replies except the sick user (in the hospital with no phone access but will return to work at an unknown time). They do not want to change the user's password and I don't see why they should need to. This is an admin request. I can handle SMS items in Queues, but I am surprised that I cannot do this task on an individual thread.

Is this a feature request or did I miss something? Thank you in advance.

Change the email, send yourself the welcome email (which will have the password), then change the email back. This way you can login into the webclient and do it.

There's no way unfortunately to close it unless it was in a queue (in which case a manager can close it.) However, there's the auto-close feature tho.

The whole point is for US not to know the executive's password. I consider this a flaw in the system. To forcibly gain someone's password (which could be the same on other systems) and send it as clear text in an email goes against security protocol. I guess this becomes a feature request.

Anyone else? It is a feature request, yes?

This post is not gaining any traction either. I don't know what the protocol is for something like this.

This is currently not possible as ConceptWeb pointed out.
I agree that the solution they provided is not ideal, but currently I can's also think of any other way.

Seeing that this is a function that was not intended by design, it constitutes a feature request, in which case you need to post it in the "Ideas" section:

As there is nothing more to add at this point, I'll lock the thread.
