After installing Windows store app snom device get offline

Hi Together!

Today I experienced a strange issue which I never saw before...

Setup:

3CX V20 (latest release)
Snom D385 and on PC Port a Windows 11 PC.

First I installed on Windows 11 the store app. Then I had to reset the password of the webclient of the user (forgotten) and let provisioning the app.

So far so good, works as expected. The I want to change control to Deskphone and suddently the Snom D385 got unregistered. The app just had Softphone as option.

Even after restarting the Snom, same behavior. User is not registered and I even cannot log in to webinterface of snom anymore ?

Does anyone have a clue on this ?

Did you reset the password from the web client login page or the admin panel?

Thanks, I figured it out...

On reseting password in Admin Pane, also webui credentials got reseted. Therefore starting snom in rescure mode and reset it, then it will get new provsion from 3cx.

Yes admin reset does change the phone and app passwords also. Though I thought desk phones auto provisioned with it now. It’s been a while but I’ve done that on Yealink and it updated.
