Android Phone: kyocera-E6790, iphone 7Plus, LG G6
Desk phone: Yealink T46S
App Version: 16.0.0.35,16.1.0.41
Connection: Wifi, 4G-LTE
Server OS: Linux VM
Server Version: V16.0.1.273

We would like for our mobile users to be able to send calls in the shared parking. When I try to transfer a call to a parking space it just calls the parking space and puts the other call on hold. If someone tries to pick up that parking spot they get me instead of the call I tried to park.

Another option we would like is to be able to put a call on hold on a soft phone and pick it up at a desk phone of the with the same extension, and visa-versa. This is not as big of a deal but would be nice.

Side questions
In V16.0.0.35 the keypad menu displayed buttons for line 1 - line 5. You could answer the line by pushing the button. In 16.1.041 those buttons are missing. Is there a way to put them back?
The _SP1-5 lines used to be at the top of the address list now they are at the bottom. Is there a way to change this?

Thank you for your assistance

We are working on this. We need some more time.
We have 2 possibilities - either we show the Shared parking places in the contacts, or we will allow you to at least dial SP1 or SP5

Thank you, we are looking forward to these options. For ease of access we would prefer to have the shared parking dial buttons back when you get things sorted out. Is there a projected time frame on this functionality?

We never had this feature until now. Can you confirm?

You are correct that the transfer functionality is was never there, but the buttons were there. The shared parking buttons were called line1-5 and were previously on the keypad menu, see attached screenshot Android_V16.0.0.35. You could answer calls that were already parked but not transfer calls to them.

The new keypad menu does not have these buttons and you have to search or scroll to the bottom of the address book to access the _SP1-5 lines. See screenshot Android_V16.1.0.41.
The buttons were obviously much easier to access than having to scroll through the whole address book.

Understandably, interface changes always cause some grief for admins just because change is difficult for users. For the most part, changes are usually for the better but this latest version has been disappointing so far.

Those buttons were to open a new line. Nothing to do with shared parking.
I think we will end up just showing the keypad and if you want to transfer, you bnring the keypad up and enter SP5 and the call will go there.

We are thinking about this.
