Solved Android 9 and freeze in notify bar XIAOMI

Hello,

we use the 3CX V16.

Since the update from Android 8 to Android 9, after any incoming call app freezed in notify bar and does not accept new calls before I manualy click to the notify icon. After that, the application appears and immediately disappears and the app starts to receive calls until the next incoming call. Then it hangs again in the notification line...

Everything worked fine with Android 8. I have issue on Redmi Note 5. App updated on last version via Play Market

Yes I did it but the problem persists.

There is solution.

I went to the android system permissions and found solution - Config - Apps - Other permissions - choose 3CX app - lock screen. In this chapter BY DEFAULT in Xiaomi Android 9 is block mode (some peoples in my community has same issue).

Thanks for sharing the solution. I compared against a Pixel phone but did not come across this menu. I'm wondering if this a Xiaomi-specific feature.

Our next release will inform the user to enable the option in case its set to "OFF" during the installation of the app.
