Solved Android incoming calls interrupt 3CX app calls

Hello,

When I am on a call on my mobile 3CX app, and a call comes in via the mobile phone, this call overrides the 3CX call and mucks it up. I can't hear the person on the 3CX call.

Is there any way for the 3CX app to communicate to the mobile and stop other incoming calls?

For reference I have a Samsung S9, and the 3CX app is version 16.

This is a deal breaker issue. How do you configure the Native android dialer to work with 3cx.

Same issue here. We are using the apps for the first time due to WFH due to COVID-19. This is an issue that has been a problem for us.

We are also experiencing this issue, a fix would be greatly appreciated. We are using the app on many phones since COVID-19.
The phones we are using are Samsung xCover 4s and Samsung S10e

advanced > settings and enable option Car/telecom api

Having similar problems, but I cannot find the "Car/telecom api" option anymore. should that be still available with 16.3.0.81 of the andoid client?

3 calls today while on mobile network had 3cx app ring in and kill audio from mobile call.
2 of those mobile calls i was on were customers telling them how they can work from home using mobile. embarrassing.

A.) The issue posted originally by @dan_00

This is the exact opposite so it is not the same matter in this case.

- Scenario A is the expected behavior because the Android OS controls who has priority, and GSM calls will override 3CX @dan_00

- Scenario B should not be happening, the settings reset seems to have corrected whatever had gone wrong on your device (which affected priority) @mperrin

@ww@imp The option you want is under Settings > Advanced > Car/Bluetooth support (Telecom API)

No problem it happens to the best of us sometimes!

As for the option, it remains hidden on models that we have tested and found them to be incompatible with that mode.

Glad to hear! I have also noticed some of my personal apps misbehaving when upgrading Android OS.

I usually go for a full factory restore if I face any issues, but I will try settings reset next time
