Solved Android native phonebook numbers showing but can't be called

HI,

On the Android 3CX phone when we try to access the native phonebook of the smartphone we see several contacts with the phone symbol at the end which we can call, but we also see allot of contacts with a mobile number but without the symbol which we can not call becaus of the missing symbol.

Any idea why and how to fix this for these contacts?

Hi @Kristoffel_Loos thanks for your question.

This might arise when the number for that contact in your native contact app is labeled as Other. Or perhaps Fax but not Mobile, Home etc.

Could you confirm the above? If it's the case, you would need to fix these contact labels.
If it's not the case we will need you to generate and send us logs whilst replicating the issue

I found the solution, it wasn't the number, one of the contact I fixed had an email filled in and was set to home. I changed it to other and then the contact is ok in 3CX.

So I had to change the email, not the number, real strange if you ask me
