API CPU Usage

Hello,

I have been able to export some data from the 3CX Linux to my SQL Server. I have noticed that the phonesystem.root object initialization seems to take quite a bit of cpu. Also, it seems that when I use the phoneSystem.root.InitializeStatistics, it takes quite a bit of cpu also. Does someone know how to limit the cpu usage to a minimum ? Sometimes it takes up to 30% of the cpu (runs normally around 1 to 4 % usage).

HI Marco,

You are performing searches against large databases of information, the CPU usage is unavoidable, if this is an issue you will need to migrate the installation to a server with a beter suited CPU

V.. is right.

The only way to get a better performance and less CPU last, is to migrate your PBX to a better system. Or try the PBX hosted by a Cloud. But i wouldn´t worry about 30% CPU last.
