App hangs phone, sends caller to voicemail. Android 8.1.0 App 15.5.344.492 Server 15.5.13103.5

It's hard to work from home (on wifi) when every time I try to answer my phone it hangs/freezes my Nexus 5x for 30 seconds while sending the caller to voicemail. The server is on-prem 60 miles away at our HQ.

We're testing with a Nexus 5X here, we can answer calls and send them to voicemail successfully.

What additional info would you like?
I'm at home, connected to WiFi.
My 3CX extension starts ringing.
I try to answer it.
Instead of answering the call, my phone locks up for about 30 seconds and the caller is sent to my voicemail.

This is really frustrating because v14 SP3 worked just fine, the only reason I updated to 15.5 is because the owner of the company got a new phone and could not use the new Android app with the old (fully functional) PBX.

This seems to be unrelated to the app it's self. Ports 5060 and MyPhone 443/5001 on the PBX are not open to the outside world, that's simply the issue. A quick visit to http://ping.eu/port-chk/ enter your PBX's FQDN and 5060/5001/443 should show you the problem.

I'm surprised you're even able to receive a PUSH call in that state. The application is unresponsive in this situation because the "call" it tries to answer cannot be answered.
