Who is everyone using for SIP providers now?

I was looking at Bandwidth.com but they have a 2-year contract and $5,000/Month minimum commitment.

Then I looked at Flowroute but they require $20/Month minimum commitment (from what I read from others; it might be higher now).

Then I looked at Skytel and SIP Trunk but they dont work with 3CX FREE/SMB.

I'd like to have SMS Support as well as Fax support, so I don't need to switch to a different SIP provider or have multiple SIP providers.

I'm leaning towards Flowroute but it says you have to dial a full 11-digit number.

Is there a way to create an outbound rule that prepends the county code?

I don't want to have to dial +1-123-456-7890 or 1-123-456-7890. I would much rather just dial 123-456-7890.

Thank you for any suggestions!

every sip call is a 11 digit dial, you just need to setup your outbound rules to add the 1 to a 10 digit number.

technically, even though nationwide calling is 10-11 digit now, you can still even do a 7 digit local dial if you setup the rule to add the 1 and area code.

That's kind of what I thought but wasn't 100% sure.

Who do you use for a SIP provider?

Are you filling 499A or Q and handling all the compliance and taxes? I assume you are looking to bill your customers directly if a carrier you reached out to requires a $5000 minimum, if so you will want to make sure you are handling the taxes/registrations correctly. We have both agent and reseller programs, plus work with 3CX for SMS, fax, etc.

I am needing a single number for my business. 3CX was what I was recommended because I can setup IVR and it has more features than Google Voice or some other VOIP mobile app. My usage will probably be less then 2,000 minutes per month. Down the road I may start offering VOIP services but for now I'm just an MSP and Low Voltage installer.

Perhaps there is a SIP provider that can bill a customer directly, so I don't need to handle the taxes. Twilio and SIP Trunk both do that from what I could find online.

We do the same/similar with our agent program, if you like check us out (voxtelesys.com), otherwise, the other carriers you mentioned should work just fine for your needs.
