After successful migration, how can I continue to associate a DID with the voicemail of an extension?

I can assign a DID to an extension/user endpoint but can't see how to assign it to the voicemail of that endpoint?

This would be done through the forwarding rules of that user

The DID is assigned to the user and through the user settings you can forward it wherever needed.

That doesn't fix my issue :(

Previously in V18 we had a DID that called an extension and another which goes straight to voicemail for the extension...

Those rules LOOK intact in the inbound rules report but I can't see any method to add/edit them?

You know, I guess I could get around this by creating a ring group with no users and setting the forwards there to the voicemail of the extension and assigning a DID to the ring group... but surely this isn't the best way to do it? Seems like a clumsy bodge

A DID to the voicemail of a user directly is not possible. The routing of DIds is now done at the destination.

However, you have 2 alternatives.

1. Create a CFD specifically for this, especially if this DID requires office hours.

2. Not a ring group, but a digital receptionist would be the easier way to do this. have the timeout at 1 second, no prompt, no options and then select the destination if no response to be the voicemail of that extension.
