I have a 3CX hosted plan while I do testing. I have a Digital Attendant set up to play an announcement during off hours (no office hours). The attendant will forward the call to a voicemail of one of the users. However, after the Afterhours message is played from the Digital Attendant, then the user voicemail is played, so there are to messages played. Is there anyway to forward the call to a user without playing the user voicemail during these hours?

Also, there are a few users that have the Phone app. Currently, the phone calls also ring on the phone app. Is there any way to turn off ringing in the phone application?

Thanks in advance for any assitance on this matter.

Perhaps you could create a dummy extension (general delivery voicemail box) and have the digital receptionist forward the call to that voicemail box, and have that voicemail box forward emails to a distribution group that includes anyone that needs to be notified? With the dummy extension save an empty greeting?

Thanks. I thought about that but was hoping that there was another solution where I could route to a specific user.

You can create a custom status that turns off push notifications if you want to silence mobile app. Otherwise, deregister the extension within the app.

They can disconnect by going to the menu: (3 lines) > Accounts, and unchecking their account. Check to reconnect when needed.

Thanks. Is this on the app or on the portal?

In the mobile app. It looks like a radio button list of the accounts from which to choose (if more than one was connected), but you can have none checked.
