After upgrading to version 8, I find that the new 3CX Assistant causes this problem in Outlook:

Apparently, this is quite common with software that interacts with Outlook .pst files - and likely should be classified as a bug in Outlook and/or .NET rather than in all those software packages (see long list in link above).
Nevertheless, previous incarnations of 3CX Outlook integration have not had this problem. Neither do Google Desktop or Google Calendar Sync, both of which run on the same machine without a hitch.
So perhaps there is a workaround? Is this something 3CX developers are already aware of?
My system:
-- 8.0.10116.583 running on W2003 with IIS
-- Assistant 8.0.9924.0 running on XP SP3
-- Outlook 2003
