Solved Auto Answer and Remote Staff Visibility

How do we setup auto answer for internal calls only? And how do we represent Staff on the apps who do not
have hard phones? seems like only people who have hard phones appear on the 3CX client app

from what do you want auto answer ? App ? deskphones? if doable not sure at all this can be done only for internal calls.

All extensions are in same group ? if not do their group publish presence to all members

Thanks. Auto answer would only be for office Staff. Why would it auto answer external calls?

I added the "publish" to the groups, and no changes so far.

did you reprovision after change? or restart App ?

are extensions members of right group? is the group with similar settings

Yes. We rebooted the server and apps. Still no visibility for people who do not have hard phones.

So we registered with the softphone and then logged out, and we have visibility with one user who does not have a desk phone. It makes sense that we would have to log in once before the system would recognize the user.

Update, use went back to red, and we lost visibility on the windows app.

Does the softphone show that it is remaining registered?

No. Once we logged out of the softphone, the extension disappears from the app. It then is back to being red under extensions.

In the client app and web client, there is a setting " show unregistered extension" .

Works great for our application!
