We have a fairly basic setup.
Fanvil phones on desks, connected to a switch port – the native vlan is the data vlan per company (multi tenant site) and the voice vlan is tagged as the vlan ID of the voice network. We use a 3CX controller, the controller lives in the voice vlan.
We use a Windows Server for all DHCP scopes.
I want to configure the appropriate options on our Windows DHCP server to drop the Fanvil in the correct vlan and then have it auto provision.
My assumption is: I need to setup DHCP option 43 in the native vlan that the phone will receive its first address from, and then set DHCP option 66 in the voice network to point the phone at the 3CX server. Does this sound about right, or is there an easier way to do this?
