Automated Call For 10 Seconds

Hi

We have a client who is using a Sirene that is connected to the phone system. if you call the number of the system the siren goes off.

The client wants an automated schedule that 3cx all the number of the device for 10 sec and then ends the call, every hour.

Als important this should not need anybody to pick up the phone or do any action. the PBX should just call the number let it ring for 10 seconds and then end the call.

I made something with the call flow designer but there it's needed for something to pick up the phone. so I made 2 IVR's that end up talking to each other, that is not a very clean setup and I can't get it right to the second. the problem is that I cant specify seconds. if I say the dailer should work between 09:00 an 09:01 it can be at 09:00 15 sec or 30 sec or 45 seconds. its never at 09:00:00.

Does anybody know another idea on how to let a device ring automatically and on specified times?

You could go with something simple/old school...Digital timer (clocks off line frequency for accuracy), set to come on for one minute, at the top of each hour (timer with multiple on/off events, even multiple timers if necessary to get enough events), Each on event will trigger a relay which stays seized for 10 seconds (555 timer, or using 2 low voltage relays and a capacitor), causes seizure of phoneline (through resistor) on ATA, which is set to autodial number .

I encourage you to talk a look at our "3CX Audio Scheduler" here. This tool can call an extension and play an audio file based on a schedule. It is frequently used for schools, airports, and manufacturing facilities for shift changes.
