Automatic transfer when pickup

Hi.

I would like for an art exhibition to be able to make extentions ring and as soon as someone picks up the phone to redirect him automaticaly to an automatic answering extention.

I have everything installed and working but how to do that ?

Not sure if I get what you want to do but I'll try.

You want a call to come in and ring a few phones at the same time. The nearest or most available person picks up the ringing phone and the other stop. Is that what you want?

If so you are in need of a Ring Group.
Under Advanced on the left click - Add Ring Group.
Then give it a name, extension # (I use ones way outside my phone extension use). Fill in the rest of which phones to ring, what to do when no one answers etc.

Then to use it - Under Line Configuration, Set Inbound calls to use the new ring group.

Is that what you're looking for?

Thank you for your answer but it is not at all what i need to do.

I'll try to explain better.

I need :

1) to make myself a call to outsideworld
2) when someone picks up in this outside world I want him to hear automatically a message through automatic answering machines (800).

That makes more sense. I don't think 3CX can do that when someone picks up. You could transfer it to another extension with a VM message the gets played.
This sounds like the type of calls I hang up on trying to sell me stuff.
No offense meant.

It is exactly the kind of anoying thing that can call you automatically to sell you stuff.
But I wand to use it for an art exhibition.

I will try other answering machines. I found one that is called IVM Answer Assistant MCH softwares.
