Automatically change an extensions status based on time.

Hey Guys,


I want to be able to have an extension ring until say 3 pm, and then after 3 pm the phone will stop ringing.

I enabled the Auto Switch,



as I understand this should be able to set the Extention to DND once the time range rule is met, However, After setting it to ring between 8am - 3pm, the ext still continues to ring and the status is still set to avaliable?

Does anyone have any ideas?

you want phone not to ring for all calls even internal or only incoming calls from outside?

When did you change settings for 8h to 15h?

Only external, Internal calls shouldn't matter.

so this is not the way, do you have a DID set for that extension ?
if so , then create an inbound rule with your OH and forward to extension , in OOH forward elsewhere
