Automatically Change of status

Hi there,

i could need your help.

In 3CX its possible to set a anmount of minutes, where the system automatically changes your status, when no activity is detected on your pc.

When the PC is on, it works. But when the PC is turned off, this wont work, the system dont changes the status of the extension.

Is this because of the turned off pc?

Are you referring to the setting in the Legacy 3CX Windows App:


If yes, then you are correct, it is the 3CX Windows App that changes the status based on the user's activity on that PC so if the client is not even running, let alone the whole PC, the profile change will of course not be triggered.

how would you rather suggest, to solve the problem, that after a specific amount of time an extension changes automatcially its status?

I know, that 3CX offers the system, that you can set specific working times for an extension. But because we have changeing shifts, this option is not appropriate in your case.

If the extension auto profile switch does not work for you then I'm not sure if there's anything else you can do but, just in case, what is the use case here? Can you provide a quick rundown of your setup and scenario so that we can hopefully determine if there's anything you can do.
