Away Status for Ring Group user

I have a ring group with only one user in it.
When this user is away(on holiday, off sick, etc...), I understand the Away Status is ignored for Ring groups, so what are my options so incoming calls get forwarded to another extension?

It is actually configurable what you want it to do.

The user can accespt Ring Group calls when they are away or DND.



But you can also configure the Destination if no answer of the Ring Group to send the call wherever you need it to go when the user is either busy, not answering, or just not in.

Thanks for the info. I think I didn't include all the info in my first message.
The user, under normal circumstances, needs calls to ring his extension. If the user does not answer the caller needs to leave a message.
If the user is on holiday or off sick incoming calls need to be forwarded to another extension.
