Hi Everyone,

Hopefully can get someone who can help a little bit.

I've deployed an instance using the 3CX supplied AWS image on the marketplace.
This instance is in a private subnet behind a PFSense firewall.

The issue we are having is when trying to validate the web ports of 80 & 443, we are given an error stating that port 80 is in use by another process or application.
Having a look, we can see that NGINX is listening on port 80 by default (I thought it should have been only listening on 5015).

Is there a way to change the listening port on the 3CX image? Ordinarily I'd change the default config under etc/nginx/sites-enabled/ but config file doesn't exist.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi!

Port 80 is reserved by AWS. In the guide for our AWS marketplace deployment we also mention to use 5000 HTTP:

Anyhow, by the time you are installing 3CX in AWS, I doubt you will ever use the non-HTTPS port for anything, so follow the advice of your note and use HTTPS:443 if you want, but HTTP:5000.
