Background Image / Logo on a Fanvil H5

Hi,

We manage a small boutique hotel, which has Fanvil H5 handsets installed in the guest rooms.
I've only just noticed, but the H5 handsets aren't displaying the hotel logo that was previously configured.
We provide the customer with an Enterprise license for 3CX, which should include this feature.

A little while back we upgraded them to V18, they're currently on Update 1, so I wondering if the upgrade has broken this.
Looking under the provisioning tab, there's no reference to a logo field, but there is on other sites we look after, who use different Fanvil handsets, X7 for example.

Has 3CX removed this feature from the Fanvil H5? I tried installing a new extension with the default H5 template and this was the same, no logo field.

Any thoughts? Do I need to raise this with 3CX?

Hi Dave,

Even going back to V16, the H5 did not have the ability to change the background from the management console.

I imagine that you probably added the logo manually at some point, and perhaps a 3CX update or reinstall replaced it with the default logo.

Thanks for your reply. I was pretty sure we did push the logo out via the management console, but it's been a while.
Out of interest, why wouldn't this be available in the management console when it is for other handsets?

Unfortunately, Fanvil did not provide us with a method to do it via the management console (as opposed to X series phones).

Not sure why that is, perhaps they followed a different philosophy when it comes to the H series.
