Beeping on Android

Hi, a user has the android app, which works fine in general, but constantly brings up notifications throughout the call (and therefore beeps) - has anyone else seen this? I have actually once or twice before on my own, but cannot force it to happen, so cannot replicate.

Hi,
this is surely in Android settings and not in 3cx client
it depends on which android version you have, (mine is only 7.0)
if you go on settings (gear)
choose menu --> notification center
choose menu --> App notification manager
search 3cx app, click it
Set the detailled notifications as you want (on mine everything is disabled)
Try if it fix

It's not that it has notifications, its that they are multiple and don't stop.

Have you try to remove and reinstall client?

is entension used on client, member of a RG or Q , which can accept multiples calls?

Yeah, done all the basics. Just wondered if anyone had seen it and knew a fix, troubleshooting is fine.

Hopefully done now, just awaiting feedback.

What do the notifications say?

Just the call connected notification over and over, still awaiting to hear back from the user if I what I told them to do worked!

That notification is not programmed to beep (as can be seen in the app permissions>notifications also) but I don't know how the specific phone device handles it.

Can you share some more info?

• Specific Android version
• 3CX app version currently installed
