Billing Rates Import

I have been having continuous issues trying to import rates into Elastix.
Every attempt only imports the 2nd line of the file (first line excluding the header).

My file is exactly how it should be (ie - copied from file):

I have noticed a few other people with this issue (searched on Google), but with no responses.

Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try it on Elastix 2.2final updated release, if you still have any issue, report it on:

How do I upgrade Elastix?

Is there a yum update command ?

yum update elastix*
if there is no more available update, and you still have the issue, report it on the bug tracker

Apparently the "Name" field is the unique factor in the file uploads.
Also, there is no way to re-upload (ie:to update).
Therefore, prefixes that are in the same city have to have different names (very strange) and there prefixes that exist in more than one trunk/carrier also have to have different names (even stranger).

Also, since there is no way to re-upload (over-right), there is no way to update unless you edit each one, one by one. In my case, I have approx 55,000 entries for each carrier... ie: well over 100,000 billing record entries... that I am expected to edit one by one.

Is anyone actually using this feature?
There seriously has to be an easier way to control billing then this.

Anyone?

I also have this problem, I am surprised that unique rate names are required and am also disappointed in the lack of an update facility. That said, I haven't paid for it, so can't really complain.

Hope it gets sorted soon though, seems it should be a major issue.

I can only suspect that no one actually uses this billing feature, but instead uses a2billing (or something of that nature).

Elastix is great, but it is missing a lot. Even the Elastix user panel is missing a lot, that I can not provide that I have to provide the freepbx panel.

I switched to Elastix from FreeSwitch due to the lack of support/development.
I see that this one is really not much different. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of features and it looks like development is still going on... but everything seems to be partially complete... thus not truly and fully usable.

Just edit the SQLite database:
/var/www/db/rate.db

There are a lot of ways to edit these databases. Search the internet for tools.
Just make a backup, copy file to your desktop, edit and have fun.

I don't rely on csv import features anymore.

Hi all.

Into billing rate module, export option is missing.

Edit index.php file into this module and replace the line numbre 136 including this:

//$oGrid->enableExport();   // enable csv export.

Replace it by:

$oGrid->enableExport(true);   // enable csv export.

I'll ask to Elastix team to fix this problem.

Do you know whether there are any plans to fix this?

We need to export all the billing rates from one elastix server to import to several others and having an export feature would be useful

There's also no information in the help file about what format the import CSV file needs to be, ie what columns and values.
